Pit-Cooked, Pulled Pork Barbecue
For this barbecue, 10-12 hours over glowing charcoal makes the difference
This Carolina-style barbecue is absolutely one of the best you’ll ever taste. A bold statement, but absolutely true. Top quality pork shoulders and hams are slowly pit-smoked over glowing charcoal for 10-12 hours. Then, the tender meat is hand-pulled in classic Southern tradition...and finished with a light vinegar marinade.
The result is a barbecue taste delight that’s great on plate or bun, with or without traditional Carolina coleslaw topping. Fully cooked...ready to heat and serve. Three 1 lb. containers (3 lbs.) for storage & serving convenience.

Great smoke flavor with a classic Carolina thin vinegar sauce. There is just a hint of heat. This BBQ pairs up well on a bun with my homemade coleslaw. It comes frozen in one pound packages. I tried warming it with a microwave and a toaster oven. Definitely better to warm it up in a covered dish in an oven.
