First, we slice our best, leanest hickory-smoked half hams into perfect slices, each to exactly the right thickness. Then, we pack slices in three easy-to-store vacuum-sealed packages for shipment to you.
You just fry the country ham slices you need...leave the rest in the vacuum-sealed package to stay moist and delicious. Refrigerate or freeze whatever you don't use right away. Comes to you ready to fry and serve, whenever your gang gets a Virginia Country Ham hankerin'! A friendly reminder...this is an aged, dry salt-cured Virginia Country Ham with a more intense country ham flavor than regular smoked ham. It's a true Southern delicacy served with Red Eye Gravy (I'll include our recipe). 6 1/2-7 1/2 lb. ham serves 10-15.
